PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The snorkel safari is a product that is mounted on SUVs and pickups designed for crossing difficult to reach areas – mountainous terrain, deserts and more. The purpose of this car accessory is to introduce fresh air, which enters through the snorkel tip, passes through the main pipe and reaches the engine with the help of an “air box” equipped with a filter. The safari snorkel also has a feature that takes out the warm air that is generated during prolonged engine operation. When crossing riverbeds, it prevents excessive ingress of water into the engine. It is mounted in the right or left area of the fender, and the main structure of the exhaust pipe is usually positioned on the front screen pillar of the car body. The snorkel safari project is aimed at Volkswagen’s Touareg model

The development is oriented in the direction of safari snorkel, for the Volkswagen model – in the SUV segment. The aim is to adapt to the Volkswagen Touareg models. The rear of the main structure of the snorkel safari is adapted to the shape of the front screen pillars of the car body – be it to the left or right screen pillar. The development is aimed at several types of safari snorkel structures that are adapted to the respective versions of the Volkswagen Touareg. The project is focused on the final product. The main option for the production of the product is focused on the production technology for injection molding of plastic. There is also an option for making with composite materials – technology for vacuum infusion
