
PROJECT STAGES
“CONCEPTUAL DEVELOPMENT”, “3D MODELING”, “MODELS AND PROTOTYPES” & “ADAPTATION OF MANUFACTURING”

The goal of each project is to pass through „Product design & Development” step by step. It starts with designing in the stages of “Conceptual Development” and “3D Modeling”. It continues with the development of the “Models and Prototypes” stage, through experimental models and functional prototypes, depending on the characteristics and objectives of the project. The previous three stages are very important for organizing and developing the fourth final stage – “Adaptation of Manufacturing”.

STAGE 1: CONCEPTUAL DEVELOPMENT
PRODUCT SKETCHES

Discussion of the product analysis and project priorities. Develop concepts that are under analysis and determine the direction of development. The next step is the selection and development of several selected conceptual options – there are basically four. From the conceptual variants, two designs are selected and then developed. A main design is selected to make the final development of the structure and details before moving to the “3D Modeling” stage.

STAGE 2: 3D MODELING
3D MODEL

Analysis of “Conceptual Development” and dimensioning of the structure of design. Moving towards main modeling of the structure. The next step is the detailed development of major areas, components and elements that shape the overall design. Final design development, specification of its structural features and, if necessary, changes in its structure. Assembling the design and inspecting its overall structure, its components and details.

STAGE 3: MODELS AND PROTOTYPES
EXPERIMENTAL MODELS AND MAIN PROTOTYPE

Analysis of “Stage: 3D Modeling” and building a plan for model and prototype types. Selection of manufacturing technologies, materials, subcontractors and production cost. Development and analysis of experimental models and functional prototypes. Following is the final development of a main prototype. An analysis of the prototype is performed and, if possible, tested under realistic conditions, taking into account the manufacturing technologies and materials used for its manufacture, as well as its technical characteristics.

STAGE 4: ADAPTATION OF MANUFACTURING
PRE-PRODUCTION PROTOTYPE

Analysis of “Stage: Models and Prototypes” and development of the final stage of the project process – “Stage: Adaptation of Manufacturing”. Collaboration with profile specialists, manufacturers and subcontractors in different fields. Selection of manufacturing technologies and materials for manufacturing of pre-production prototype. Exploration and selection of manufacturers – consultancy, determination of production cost and adaptation to production requirements. Development and main analysis of pre-production prototype.
