Development of a rear automotive diffuser for Seat Ibiza Cupra, model 2005. The purpose of the product was – design and manufacture of a test additive before the production of the main product. The structure of the accessory was attached to a part that makes up the rear bumper of the car. After completion of the automotive diffuser, it was subjected to intensive speed tests. During the test, with the help of an attached camera, the overall changes in the rear bumper were observed. After the initial tests, corrections were made in the inclination of the ribs and their position was optimized in order to improve the desired effect. A combination of materials was used to make the product. The core of the ribs was made of “comatex” (PVC and polyurea). The ribs attached to a detail of the rear bumper were covered with a combination of fiberglass, polyester resin and finished with polyester putty.

Development of a rear bumper automotive diffuser – for Alfa Romeo 156. The purpose of the product was purely visual – as an additional accessory to the rear bumper of the car. In view of the air flow that passes under the car, the specific effect achieved is in a smaller range. The main ribs are more voluminous, which reduces their efficiency, but in this case the priorities were in another direction. Industrial designer clay was used to make the main models of the products. For the production of the fiberglass mold and the final product were used – fiberglass roving, fiberglass, polyester resin and gelcoat, as well as finishing with polyester putty.

Conceptual development of an automotive diffuser – product sketches – for Lancia Delta Integrale. Development of a functional accessory for one of the most popular models of rally cars. This model of Lancia was dominant in the 90s of the 20th century – in the World Rally Championship. The goal of the project was to reach the production of the final version of the automotive diffuser for the rear bumper. The extremely good styling of the car meant that a product like the automotive diffuser should be in line with its overall concept. A product was made that underwent various modifications and corrections (no photo material of the final product is available). The car diffuser is made of two groups of products – main panel and ribs. The respective ribs were additionally installed in the finishing procedures and refining the shell shape of the automotive diffuser. The assembly was done by fasteners and gluing. Industrial designer clay was used to make the main model of the product. For the production of the fiberglass mold and the final product were used – fiberglass, polyester resin and gelcoat, as well as polyester putty. The ribs for the automotive diffuser were made of foamed PVC and covered with fiberglass and polyester resin and finished with polyester putty.
