The bag is one of the examples among the products, which are distinguished by clear characteristics. The synchronization of functionality, styling and the materials used for the production of the bag is a precise process that must be done gradually and with attention to detail. Daily bags should have the optimal combination of these characteristics. A clearly defined concept is required from the very beginning of development for this type of product. The specific project is aimed at a daily bag that can be used throughout the day, but at the same time stored in the car. Such accessories can often be seen in the car interior.
Conceptual Development of a Daily Car Bag – Product Sketches

The development will continue with the improvement and finalization of the concept with the help of product sketches. The concept solution is aimed at a hybrid concept – a car accessory, but also a product that is used during the rest of the day. After the completion of the conceptual development, a 3D model will be designed. This will allow for the finalization of every detail in the main structure of the bag. The development will gradually enter the stage of making a test model and experiments with different types of details. The focus is on a specific type of material, with an emphasis on synthetic fibers – variations of CORDURA®. This will be the main type of material that will be used to make the bag, but in combination with other types of textiles. Details made of composite materials – carbon fiber or hybrid composite structures – will also be used. Reaching a pre-production prototype will be an occasion for implementation in production. The goal is to reach a final product whose styling characteristics are oriented towards the unisex concept.
