Winter Soles with Foot Heater

Year: 2014 – 2015

Project

Freezing legs in winter is a common problem that causes unpleasant sensations, discomfort and health problems. People are looking for a solution to the problem of cold and wet feet, as well as the dangers that hide from In this development, a solution is proposed by designing two variants of heaters. Their main function is aimed at gradually warming the feet – when walking. The development has already gone through initial testing of prototypes. The finalization of the two options, which are aimed at a final products, is pending. The project is part of a brand that covers different types of energy-efficient solutions in different fields – HTEconomizer.

Development

In the development, different types of materials were tested, from which several trial components and prototypes were made. The results of the tests were subjected to a detailed analysis, and this led to additional options for optimizing the heaters. The structure generates just as much heat as is needed through walking motion and the resulting warming effect. It is not necessary to warm the feet too much when walking, because the order of 2º С to 4º С is quite sufficient for a significant change in temperature inside the shoes. Overly warm legs are not so good for your health because it produces unpleasant sweating, foot fungus, rashes, eczema, etc. Heaters are used both in standard winter footwear and in hiking footwear – by adapting the shoe insoles or modular principle. One solution works with very good efficiency and can be adapted and implemented for production.
