Office Furniture

Year: 2005

Project

The furniture must be adequate with its structure and way of functioning. The optimal use of space in an office is the result of the right choice of furniture and their logical arrangement. With their help business, administrative and creative processes are optimized. Whether it is marketing, economics, logistics, design, etc., office furniture contributes to the efficiency, usefulness and psychological attitudes of people working in office spaces. In this project, conceptual solutions were generated in different directions – single desks, combinations between “desk” and “table”, work tables and more. At this stage the developments are on a conceptual level – product sketches.

Development

In the design of the main structures, the emphasis was on one-person desks; combinations of “desk” and “work table”; desks with additional customer service areas; furniture for team and shared work; as well as several solutions for conference tables combined with work processes. There are complementary worktops in the desks that are used for different needs. In addition to the standard central place for one person, some conceptual solutions emphasize the availability of more people, creating a shared work space. Separation of jobs for more than one person is done with the help of transition zones or dividers. Modular solutions have also been developed, combining more than one element in order to connect several work tables in one structure. The development provides opportunities for adjustment and optimization of concepts, which will lead to adequate product solutions for office furniture.
