When arranging shoes in a store, you must be creative and purposeful, using appropriate furniture. The respective shoe model is always positioned on specialized shelves. They play the role of presentation accessories that greatly influence the perceptions and choices of the client. The structure of the shelves must be consistent with the theme, style and purpose of the shoes offered in the store. The arrangement of a collection of shoes also depends on the possibilities offered by the shelves; whether their design allows for appropriate perception and whether this can help potential sales. This project focused on a wide range of structural solutions, with different types of designs, as well as options for arranging different types of shoes.

Development
The development led to concrete solutions at the conceptual level, in the form of product sketches. A basis was created for the development of different types of shelves such as structures, modules, functionalities and combinations of materials. Variants have been developed in which load-bearing structures are present, with a mounted back on which modules of shelves are moved, the load-bearing plates of which are bent into different shapes. Variants for cabinet structures of furniture from panels, with separate niches and additional levels for shoe arrangement have also been developed. Emphasis was also placed on structures with two-sided, three-sided and four-sided arrangement and positioning of shoes. The range of product solutions also includes the development of cantilever structures, different types of hanging parts and profiles, as well as bent panels of different thicknesses. Potential production technologies and materials are in a wide range – cutting and milling of wood, metal and various types of plastics; bending of sheet metal; welding of different types of metal profiles; vacuum molding of plastics; preparation of molds and casting of products and details from composite materials, etc. During the development of the project it is necessary to go through the stage of designing 3D models. Thus, the final versions of the shelves will be selected, after which their functional, visual and production characteristics will be optimized and finalized.
