The car interior is made up of different types of zones that must meet specific requirements. Each sector of it must cover specific functional, ergonomic and visual characteristics. Sometimes a complete redesign of the interior is made, in view of different style preferences. Usually a basic model of a car is used, the interior of which is transformed into a certain thematic modification. For the conceptual development of this project for automotive interior is used the basis of a European car – Volkswagen. The design is oriented towards the typical for American style modifications of cars – “Hot Rod”.

Development
Development is at the level of product sketches, with a simpler style of depiction, without undue artistry. The original idea of the project was to adapt the overall redesign of the interior to Volkswagen cars – Golf GTI Cabriolet, Golf 1 Cabriolet and Golf 2 Cabriolet, models from 1983 to 1992. The cars are aimed at a completely new exterior design that will match the concept – “Hot Rod”. The concepts are also aimed at modifications of the car brands Audi, Mercedes and Opel. The project has reached a certain stage of its development – conceptual solutions and variations of the overall look of the interior. The next possible step of development is to move to the design of 3D models. In 3D modeling, attention will be paid to a more detailed development of the individual areas and accessories from which the automotive interior is built.
